1. How long will it take for my caricature model to arrive?
We take great pride in handcrafting and hand painting each model, so it will take up to 3 weeks to arrive at your doorstep.
2. How do I send you a photograph?
Photographs are uploaded during checkout. You will be asked to confirm the person’s particulars such as eye-colour, hair colour and skin tone.
3. What type of photograph is needed?
We only require one photograph of the person but you can submit more photos (the additional photos will be used as a reference only). The artists needs to see the details and the shape of the face so a full frontal view is good, or a slight quarter turn is acceptable. The photograph will need to show a typical expression or of the person smiling.
Photographs which are small, dark or blurry will not be good enough. Heads obstructed by objects or hands will also be rejected.
4. Can I send you a physical photograph?
At the current moment, we cannot accept photographs as we do not have the facility to scan the photographs in.
5. What is your cancellation and refund policy?
Due to the nature of this product and in accordance to the Distance Selling Act, we cannot accept returns. However, a percentage refund is available depending on the stage at which the mini sidekick is in the process. Please see our terms and conditions for further details.
6. I want to order a bulk order for my wedding/corporate function, will I get a discount?
Yes, we are welcome bulk orders. Please give us a call and we will be able to quote you ‘live’ for the bulk orders and also the savings you would get.
7. When is my credit card charged?
Your credit card will be charged, once we have approved your photograph by the artists and the work has been initiated.
8. What percentage resemblance are your models to the person?
The model is a caricature model of the person and therefore they are an artistic impression in a comical way. Generally speaking they are approx. 70-80%.
9. I want to create a custom made mini sidekick that is not available from you catalogue, can you do this?
We most certainly can, please send us your details and pictures of how you would like your minisidekick to look like and we will quote you accordingly.
10. How Do I Pay?
All payments are made online and they are done through a third party so that we will hold none of your details. Please see our privacy policy.
11. How Are The Caricature Models Sent?
All our caricature models will be packaged with a polystyrene packaging to ensure they reach you in the condition that left our artists hands. There is 5 points of QC in our process to ensure that the product reaches you in pristine condition.
12. What happens if I receive my product damaged?
We take great care to ensure your product reaches you in a pristine condition. However, if your product does reaches you damaged, please contact us immediately (within 48 hours) by email and we will do our best to send you a replacement product as soon as possible. Terms and conditions apply.
